Wynonna Judd

Wynonna Judd and her band are counting their blessings today. On Wednesday night (Feb. 25) something went wrong when her tour bus generator caught on fire. Thankfully, the crew was not on the bus which was headed out to a show at the American Music Theater in Lancaster, PA.

Judd broke the news on Twitter expressing her gratitude that they were all safe in 7 different reasons. We are so glad you are all okay, stay safe on the road Wynonna!

On January 20, 1995 Wynonna Judd saw her biggest success to date. After her mother was diagnosed with Hepatitis C, the mother, daughter duo disbanded. She had no choice but to set off on her own, and within a year released her self titled debut album.

Three No. 1 singles, ‘She Is His Only Need,’ ‘I Saw the Light’ and ‘No One Else on Earth,’ followed the albums release. After four weeks at the top of the charts and 4 million in sales she earned a CMA Award nomination for Album of the Year.

After triumph, and 8 months in the studio, the hard work certainly paid off for Judd.
