Faith Hill

is an American country pop singer and occasional actress. She is one of the most successful country artists of all time, having sold more than 40 million albums worldwide. Hill is married to country singer Tim McGraw, with whom she has recorded several duets. Hill has won five Grammy Awards, 15 Academy of Country Music Awards, six American Music Awards and several other awards. Her Soul2Soul II Tour 2006 with McGraw became the highest-grossing country tour of all time. In 2001, she was named one of the “30 Most Powerful Women in America” by Ladies Home Journal. In 2009, Billboard named her as the No. 1 Adult Contemporary artist of the 2000 decade and also as the 39th best artist. Miranda Lambert

is an American country music singer and songwriter. She is best known as a solo artist, and is a member of the Pistol Annies. Lambert has been honored by the Grammy Awards, the Academy of Country Music Awards, and the Country Music Association Awards. Lambert’s debut album Kerosene (2005) was certified Platinum in the United States. All four singles were top 40 hits on Billboard Hot Country Songs. Her second album, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, was released in early 2007. Although the title track failed to make top 40, the next three singles were top 20 hits, with “Gunpowder & Lead” becoming her first top 10 country hit in July 2008. Her third album, Revolution, was released in September 2009. Five singles were released from the album, including two Number One hits: “The House That Built Me”, which spent four weeks at the top; and “Heart Like Mine”. 2011’s Four the Record, included the singles “Baggage Claim”, “Over You”, “Fastest Girl in Town”, “Mama’s Broken Heart”, and “All Kinds of Kinds”. Reba McEntire

is an American country music singer, songwriter, record producer, actress and television producer. She began her career in the music industry as a high school student singing in the Kiowa High School band, on local radio shows with her siblings, and at rodeos. While a sophomore in college, she performed the National Anthem at the National Rodeo in Oklahoma City and caught the attention of country artist Red Steagall who brought her to Nashville, Tennessee. She signed a contract with Mercury Records a year later in 1975. Kellie Pickler

is an American country music artist and television personality. She gained fame as a contestant on the fifth season of American Idol, and finished in sixth place. In 2006, she signed to 19 Recordings and BNA Records as a recording artist, releasing her debut album, Small Town Girl, later that year. As of 2014, it has sold over 900,000 copies. She also parted ways with her former record label. In October 2012, she signed with Black River Entertainment. Trisha Yearwood

is an American singer, author, and actress. She is known for her ballads about vulnerable young women from a female perspective that have been described by some music critics as “strong” and “confident”. Yearwood is a member of the Grand Ole Opry and was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 2000. Yearwood rose to fame in 1991 with her debut single “She’s in Love with the Boy”, which became her first No. 1 single and was featured on her self-titled debut album. In 1997, Yearwood recorded the song “How Do I Live” for the soundtrack of the movie Con Air. It became her signature song, achieving high positions and sales worldwide, and won her a Grammy Award. Patsy Cline

was an American singer. Part of the early 1960s Nashville sound, Cline successfully “crossed over” to pop music and was one of the most influential, successful and acclaimed vocalists of the 20th century. She died at the age of 30 in a multiple-fatality crash in the private plane of her manager, Randy Hughes. Cline was best known for her rich tone, emotionally expressive and bold contralto voice and her role as a country music industry pioneer. Along with Kitty Wells, she helped pave the way for women as headline performers in the genre. Cline was cited as an inspiration by singers in several styles. Sara Evans

is an American country music singer and songwriter. For her entire career, she has been signed to RCA Nashville. Evans has released seven studio albums with a double-platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments of two million copies. She has charted more than 20 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts; while none of the singles from her debut album made Top 40 there, plus four more that reached Top 10. Several of her singles have also crossed over to the Billboard Hot 100, where she has seven Top 40 entries. is an American singer-songwriter, actress, author, businesswoman, and humanitarian, known primarily for her work in country music. Parton is the most honored female country performer of all time. is a Canadian singer and songwriter. Twain has sold over 85 million records, making her the second world’s best-selling artist of all time. She is also the best selling female artist in the history of country music, which garnered her honorific titles including the “Queen of Country Pop”. Twain’s second studio album, 1995’s The Woman in Me, brought her widespread fame.
