Women in country music are not being given the radio airplay they deserve or need to keep their presence in the media. So Luke Bryan is taking a stand and starting to speak up about it.  Bryan is even quoted in the article saying, “It’s definitely a conversation that we do always [have], and even going forward. We’re always making sure that we’re doing our, I guess, due diligence … and not missing out on a talented woman out there, a talented young lady that’s up and coming,” Read more here: https://bit.ly/2MFFqGK

The list includes “Ladies in the 90s” by Lauren Alaina, “Buy My Own Drinks” by Runaway June, “Friends Don’t” by Maddie & Tae, “Butterflies” by Kacey Musgraves, and “Miss Me More” by Kelsea Ballerini.

Maddie-Tae

It’s hard not to love the funny, and unforgettable “Girl In A Country Song,” video from Maddie & Tae. The girls broke onto the scene making an “anti-bro country” statement and took the song to #1 on the Billboard Country Charts.

Their latest music video “Fly,” is quite the contrast and instead demonstrates the duo’s strength both as vocalists and in dealing with heavier subject matter.

“Just like we didn’t want our second single to be like our first one, we didn’t want our second video to be anything like our first one, which was so fun,” Tae Dye told Country Music is Love.

Will the duo hit gold once again with their latest single? Watch the video below, and leave a comment:
