Chris Janson made a splash this summer with his hit “Buy me a Boat” which gave every country lover a song to tap their foot to in-between trips out to the lake. In honor of Janson’s upcoming debut album (releasing Oct. 30th) we wanted to take a trip back to those summer nights when you too were wishing to be out on the lake.

Eric Church has a love for “The Weight” the song by The Band seen in his many covers of the song throughout his tours. Church’s love for the song was on display again when he and Warren Haynes sang the song at recent live show. You could see the excitement on Church’s face as Haynes came onto stage which then poured over onto the crowd. We will have to see if Church brings this back as he and Hank Williams Jr. kick off the 49th CMA awards.

1. Blake and Miranda Country

blake-and-miranda

After four tumultuous years The King and Queen of Country are divorcing. Looks like the star of The Voice isn’t picking Miranda to be a finalist.

2. Jason Aldean and Jessica Usery

After 12 years of marriage the court docs sited “irreconcilable differences”. Translation: His wife couldn’t reconcile Jason dating former American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr. Oh, he married the differences part of the irreconcilable after the breakup.

3. Shania Twain and Mutt Lange

Well maybe we should have known that this wouldn’t work. After all when you marry a man named “Mutt” …

4. Kenny Chesney and Renee Zellweger

This marriage lasted 4 months there were rumors that Kenny’s middle name was really “beard” which he denied in a sixty minutes interview. He apparently didn’t understand what it was like to be married … for four months?

5. Leann Rimes and Dean Sheremet

(where do these people get their names?) I guess Sheremet rimes with According to Sheremet the business ended up destroying them. It may have been the business or it may have been Leann’s affair with Cibrian…

“I’m finally, after 11 years, I’m going back on tour,” the “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” singer Shania Twain said on “Good Morning America.”

The 5x Canadian Grammy Winner will kick off the “Rock This Country” tour in Seattle on June 5, 2015 and take the show to 48 cities throughout the U.S. and Canada.

This is a bittersweet moment for Twain who says the tour will be the end of her touring legacy.

“This is a very, very important time on the road for me,” she said. “I just feel like I’m ready to hang my hat up in that regard. I just really want to go out with a bang.”

We couldn’t be more thrilled! The world needs Shania back. Don’t you agree?

Here are some fun facts about the Country Superstar:

*  Come on Over, remains the bestselling album ever by a woman and the bestselling country album of all time.
* Shania Twain’s real name is Eilleen Regina Edwards
* Shania will be turning 50 at the end of her tour. (I want to look like her when I’m 50!
* She is the only female artist in history to have three consecutive albums certified Diamond

Luke Bryan was on The Bobby Bones Show this week, and was challenged to a helium sing-off. After sucking in a balloon full of helium Bobby sang his version of “Drink A Beer.”

Luke did not waste any time as he swallowed two balloons full of helium and sang his rendition of ‘That’s My Kind of Night.’

This year Taylor Swift nabbed the spotlight as she made the switch from Country, to Pop Music. Boy was the switch big, bold, and a complete 180 from the Taylor we grew up with. But all in all, she managed to hit it out the park. Here are some of Taylor Swift’s biggest moments of 2014.

Taylor Swift Listening Party

We’re sad we didn’t get the invite. But earlier this year Taylor welcomed fans over to her new apartment in Tribeca for an album listening party.

Taylor Swift Vs Spotify

If you weren’t invited to a special T. Swift listening party, chances are you had to buy the album to listen. Swift pulled 1989 off the music listening sight due to artistic differences.

Taylor Swift Album Sales
