Country Christmas

CMA’s Best New Artist of the year Brett Eldredge took the time to talk with People Magazine on how he likes to spend Christmas each year.

“I’m going home to my hometown, Paris, Illinois, for Christmas. It’s the same every year, nothing ever changes, which is what I love about it. In a business where everything changes constantly, I love that Christmas at home is the same. ”

Earlier this year Brett was named People Magazines “one to watch.” And with the hustle and bustle of his schedule Brett seems happy to be home baby sitting his cousin Olivia.

Despite his busy schedule, there is only one thing that will get Brett to perform on Christmas.

“Christmas morning I get out my guitar and sing Christmas carols. That is the only time I’ll work on Christmas, to sing for my family.”

But don’t worry, we’ve got a special performance by Brett on A Country Christmas just for the readers. Watch “What Christmas Means To Me,” performed on CMA’s Country Christmas.

These girls are on the rise. We’re talking about Maddie & Tae. After topping the Billboard Country charts, the girls are taking some time off for the Christmas Holidays.

In a recent interview with People Magazine, Maddie Marlow talked about her family traditions growing up in Texas

“We’re in south Texas and our big tradition is we go hunting all together as a family for dove, deer, quail. We all have our camo on and it’s pretty awesome. And then we watch A Christmas Story every year.”

We couldn’t be more in love with these girls right now. How do you celebrate the holiday season? Leave us a comment!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Country Christmas.

Last night, Country Music Stars came together to spread some holiday cheer. Singer/Actress Idina Menzel of Frozen was invited to sing with Jennifer Nettles, who just so happens to be a huge fan.

As Jennifer began singing “Do You Want To Build A Snowman?” Idina decides to cut her off before she could sing the next verse. But what happened next was truly magical.
