Album Review

Country Music fans are at a crossroads with the release of Taylor Swift’s new album “1989” which is about as country as… well it’s not country at all. The new Taylor is more an of “Urban Pop” Princess similar to the likes of Katy Perry, and Selena Gomez. In fact, she makes Shania Twain look like Loretta Lynn.
So who’s behind the vision of ” 1989?” Producers Max Martin and Shellback known for creating monstrous hits for pop megastars Britney Spears, Usher, and Christina Aguilera have crafted this album to do the same for Swift.

But will this new sound turn away her diehard Country fans for good? Should Taylor Swift stick to Pop Music or make a return to Country?

Leave us a comment! In the meantime, check out some of her biggest hits over the years.
